The veteran NASCAR television reporter and show host died Tuesday at age 56 after a battle with cancer. Nate, while talking about his contract negotiations with Dana White, told “Cowboy” to treat himself like a business. A month later, Donald Cerrone finally understood what Nate meant. Nate, much like Cerrone had the “anytime, anywhere” mentality. However, Cerrone for the first time spoke out against the UFC during his post fight press conference while talking about the money he made for his fight against Patrick Cote....

The unique knockout format of the 70-lap exhibition race resulted in a wild 10-driver, 10-lap shootout for a $1 million prize. Brad Keselowski stayed out on older tires to begin the final 10-lap stage but was quickly passed by Kyle Busch on the restart. Busch, who started the final stage in third, dove to the bottom of the track nearly tearing up his splitter in the grass to make the pass....

It looked as if the race would come down to Chase Elliott and Joey Logano in the final five laps, but with three laps to go, Elliott lost control on the inside, spinning toward the outside and collecting Logano. That opened up room for Keselowski to grab the win. It was a tough finish for Elliott, who won the race’s first two stages and had the lead on the final restart....

The 400 laps around Charlotte Motor Speedway’s 1.5-mile track Sunday changes drastically from start to finish. As the sun sets and the track becomes cooler, the more grip on the racetrack a car has but when the green flag drops, the hot track can cause cars to slip and slide. The race also reminds us that the NASCAR season is a third of the way finished. So far Kyle Larson leads the points standings but Kyle Busch owns the momentum after winning Saturday night’s All-Star Race on the same track....
